Really good stay!

I found the room spacious. The breakfast included a cracking full english breakfast that set me up. The bed was seriously comfy. Seriously, i slept so well!

dated room dirty woodwork
the pub felt comfortable. friendly. the bar itself had a good selection of ales and good food at a reasonable price.
the room was very dated. the walls, woodwork, and skirtings were dirty. there were no blackout curtains, and the poorly fitting blinds at the south front window meant i was awake at 5.30am.

Excellent stay
friendly staff good efficiency great breakfast convenient location
The staff were cute. The breakfast was great (especially the full English!). There was also a good selection of beers available at the bar. The location is convenient, quite close to the beach.
The mattress felt slightly worn. It didn't ruin my sleep, but it's worth noting.

The team was very attentive, cute guests. Our dog was made welcome (that's really nice). I found the service to be quick and always with a smile.

lovely staff range of options well-kept room small bathroom ventilation system night disruption
I found the staff lovely. They were very helpful with directions and local tips. The food menu had a good range of options, and the breakfast (the full English!) set me up for the day. The room was clean and well-kept.
The bathroom was rather small. I also noticed some noise from what sounded like a ventilation system (I think) during the night. It stopped occasionally but then started up again, a bit disruptive.

safe parking coffee facilities
i stayed in the twin room private bathroom, a good size with storage. i found safe car parking at the back and the room included tea and coffee making facilities.
the convenience store next door was handy, though sometimes a little noisy late at night.
